Physical or Chemical Change (Heating ZnO)

My hypothesis - Heat reacts with the Zinc Oxide causing a change of colour from white to a faint yellow-ish colour and it turns back white after sometime resting off heat. (I watched an experiment like this on Nile Red (YouTube) , If my hypothesis is correct it should be a chemical change.

Equipment - 

Sample of ZnO (Zinc Oxide)

Heat source -  Hot plate

Scales

Heat proof container - Evaporating Dish

Tongs

Heat proof mat

After the experiment I found my hypothesis was correct and the powder had slight change in colour yet it was a physical change and not a chemical change because of the fact that it can easily be reversed which I did not bring into consideration.  Before:
