Tane Mahuta Entry One
I am part of the tane mahuta group
our goal is to bring the school back to its former glory
today we explored places including the orchard
my favorite area in the school is the field because of its personality and potential
my best idea is to build a new playground since we only have one and its used from year 7 to year 9 (usually)

Homemade Filter (Science)
Aim: To make a filtration plant using household materials.
Water Filtration Plant |
What is filtration?
Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass.
Examples are:
- Water Filter
- Coffee Plunger
- Jug
- Tea Bag
Materials
1. Plastic Bottle
2. Sand
3. Filter Paper
4. Stones / Pepples
5. Scissors
6.
7.
8.
Step 1
Cut the bottle into half using scissors
Step 2
Put the top half upside down on the top of the bottom half
STEP 3
Add layers of Sand, Stones and filter paper in this order, Filter paper, sand, stones
STEP 4
Get 1 cup of dirty water and tip it on the stones, sand and filter paper
STEP 5
Watch the water change to a clearer color!
Measurements
Write a short sentence about the water every 1 minute.
Include 'How much water has filtered through', 'How fast it is dripping through', and 'How clear the water is'.
Warning
Make sure that an adult cuts the bottle in half. This water filter is just an experiment and should not be used for drinking water.
Avoid using charcoal briquets, as these can contain chemicals you don't want in your water. Use the activated carbon for water purifiers instead.

Art Class Module, Post 1
What is Stop Motion? Stop motion is a website/app that can make a bunch of photos into a video so the name really resembles what it is!
What am I using to make my video? I'm using a special type of clay that doesn't dry by air im using that to sculpt characters
What are the characters names? The characters names are pretty basic,
.Backstage man
.Stage man
.Crowd kid
.James
My group members names? pretty simple really Me (Kody) Jaxon and Callum
What sort of stop motion am I doing? my group and I's stop motion is based on a scam the guy scams people into thinking giving him the viewer's credit card details and he succeeds and drives off in a new car with a massive exhaust
